Mística, cristianismo y fenomenología: El discurso religioso femenino en la Edad Moderna hispánica,’ by Patricia Fernández Martín, published by Ultreia Editorial, in 2024.

We are delighted to share the news that a student of CIBI, Patricia Fernández Martín, has published a book on Christian female mysticism. The book, which is published in Spanish, includes a chapter on ‘The Carmelite Mystical Phenomenon,’ and two Discalced nuns, Ana de san Bartolomé, O.C.D., and Cecilia del Nacimiento, O.C.D., are among those studied.

The title translates as Mysticism, Christianity and Phenomenology: Feminine Religious Discourse in the Spanish Modern Period.
