To celebrate the Opening of the Shrine to St. Thérèse, the First-Class Relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her parents, St. Louis and St. Zélie Martin, will be at St. Sylvester’s Church, Malahide, from 12th–15th March.

Schedule of key events:

  • Thursday 12th March, 10 a.m., St. Sylvester’s Church –  Holy Mass and Blessing of the new Shrine and Blessings with St. Thérèse's relic.
  • Friday 13th March, 11 a.m., Star of the Sea Carmelite Monastery – Holy Mass and Blessings with the St. Thérèse's relic.
  • Saturday 14th March, 7 p.m., St. Sylvester’s Church – Inspiring talks on St. Thérèse, her parents St. Louis and St. Zélie Martin, and her sister Servant of God Léonie Martin by esteemed Carmelite speakers, followed by Eucharistic Adoration, prayer and candle ceremony, Benediction, and Blessing with the relic of St. Thérèse.
  • A large exhibition on St. Thérèse and the Martin family in the Parish Centre (14th–15th March)

Grace Filled events also include - Veneration of the Relics St. Thérèse, St. Louis and St. Zélie, Blessings with St Thérèse's Relic and Distribution of Blessed Roses.
