Bursary Fund

The Carmelite Institute of Britain and Ireland has established a small Bursary fund to support students who may financially struggle to access or stay in our accredited programmes. 

The value of the bursary will cover the registration fee and up to 50% of module fees. The bursary will be valid for one academic year at a time. 

To be considered for a bursary please write to the Director of Studies outlining: 

1. your personal aspirations and how studying Carmelite Spirituality will help you realise these goals. 
2. your financial circumstances, including your employment status. Please note that the bursary is primarily for the benefit of unwaged applicants. 

Your application, which should be between 250 and 500 words, should be sent to admin@cibi.ie. 

Recipients of the bursary must adhere to the following conditions: 

1. the relevant module(s) must be studied and completed within one semester. 
2. all assignments must be submitted within the published timelines. 
3. If a module is not completed the student must reimburse CIBI for the bursary amount.
